When I last wrote I was still playing in D7 tuning, which is ACDF#AD from low to high. Shortly after this I began to use C6 tuning, one of the most commonly used in country music, and also one of the tunings used in Hawaiian music. C6 tuning is CEGACE, though I was actually using A6 tuning, which is AC#EF#AC#. You can see A6 is an easy tuning to get into from D7.
