Dancing with Spiders

Trevor Bolder was the bass guitarist with the legendary David Bowie’s Spider from Mars, along with guitarist Mick Ronson and drummer Woody Woodmansey, a lineup which has influenced musicians and bands over the decades which followed.

When the opportunity to work with Trevor occurred Stevie jumped at it – and Dancing with Spiders was recorded on and off over the next two years. All songs were written by Stevie, with the exception of Ziggy Stardust (David Bowie), and produced by Trevor and Stevie. Post production mastering and link effects by Mike Harris at Little London Studios. Sadly Trevor passed away shortly after the final recordings.

Stevie spent many years as drummer for UK Subs, and later Cyanide, making numerous appearances on Top of the Pops – on one occasion he drummed for Sinitta at the request of Simon Cowell - before deciding to branch out on a solo career.

Dancing with Spiders is the first album on new label Little London Records – with a follow up album, Auto Destructive, nearing release.

Although Stevie spent some years battling with health problems he’s now back with a vengeance and putting all his energy into bringing his wealth of work to the attention of fans and media.

The album tracks can be downloaded from this site and the cd version, with 8 page colour booklet is available from his website via the link at the top of this page.
