Gŵyl Ifan is an annual festival in Cardiff that celebrates traditional Welsh folk dancing.
It is an annual festival, which attracts dancers from all of Wales to entertain the public with traditional dancing and this year we welcome dancers from France and Holland also. Gŵyl Ifan is held over the mid-summer weekend festival of St John, which this year will be 24 - 26th of June 2016.
The first event of the weekend is a twmpath, which is open to the public. An informal evening of energetic and fun welsh folk dancing suitable for dancers of every standard - whether an experienced folk dancers or trying out your dancing shoes for the first time. Also, with entertainment from Hen Nodiant Choir.
