After picking up an acoustic guitar and then moving onto bass guitar, Cary fronted her own bands from the age of 13 in and around the Coventry and Warwickshire area. For Cary, after-school activities included playing at the local working men's social clubs and hotel residencies with her band playing covers then moving onto original material
Cary turned professional and went on the road - highlights included touring Cyprus entertaining the troops, a trip to Nashville to appear at the Country Music Association Awards and playing the infamous 'Bluebird Cafe', going on to eventually form an all female rock group. She has travelled extensively Worldwide taking in some UK and foreign TV appearances, as well as festivals along the way. Still based in the UK, several years later residing near Barnsley, Cary writes and records original material playing bass and electric guitars, as well as undertaking the lead and backing vocals under the name of 'Blush'. Songs are mainly in pop/folk genres with female vocals and Cary calls on friends to assist.
